Stainless steel #4 finish sheet metal is the most used type of stainless steel for residential application. Commonly found in kitchen appliances and countertops, it is easy to clean, and maintain. It has a grain as a finish, known as the #4 finish. Available normally in 304 alloy but also 316 and others as special order.

Used for counter tops, chimney caps, hood vents, drip pans, cabinets, shelves, gutter hangers and many more miscellaneous items.

Available in 4' x 8', 4' x 10', 4' x 12', 5' x 8', 5' x 10', 5' x 12' and other size sheets. 11, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24 and 26 gauge.

Zep 5 star metal polish: Fingerprints, stains, or a patina you don't like can be removed with Zep 5 star metal polish. Cleans and polishes brass, chrome, stainless steel, copper, silver, gold, aluminum, magnesium, aluminum alloys, nickel, zinc, tin, bronze, and pewter. Industrial-strength paste is guaranteed to protect against rust, tarnish, water stains, and salt and fresh water corrosion. Formula presents no fire hazards, in use. Paste form eliminates waste through over-use or spills. A little goes a long way.
If your item has a grain finsh, make sure to follow the same direction when applying this product, specially if using something abrasive.

Scotch Brite Surface Finishing Pad

Used for: Finishing Stainless Steel

3M Scotch Brite Surface Finishing Pad: If your stainless steel product has light scratches going at a different direction than the intended grain, a 3m surface finishing pad may help. This product is easy to use, simply by hand, and helps blend in the original #4 finish with any blemishes or light scratches going on a different direction than the original grain. To use this, make sure to follow the grain. This will not remove gauges or deep scratches.
