Shanks are parts used in conjunction with circle gutter hangers to adjust the
hanging angle or/and height of a gutter profile.
Many times fascia boards will be installed at a 90° to the ground,
in which case a simple hanger with the #10 combo would probably be the best solution,
but in other situations, different angles and heights require different shanks.
